One week may not be as much time as you’d like to have, but incredible experiences can be had in 7 days so a visit (at any time of the year, for as many days as you may have to travel for) is worth the trip. February was very hot with clear sunny skies all day long! There are a number of companies here that have zip lines, tree platforms, suspension bridges and more. It is a 3 hour drive from San Jose to Manuel Antonio. A lot of people don’t want to drive so they take a local flight to Quepos, rent a car in Quepos during their time there, return the car and then fly back to San Jose. You can take the bus, drive or a shuttle/tour. I never thought we would burn through our clothing but we did. This is a MUST if you’re heading to Costa Rica…Manuel Antonia is such a beautiful park, but the ‘end’ of the tour is breathtaking!! Chicken wings and burgers. If you guys park by the roundabout by Playa Espadill Norte, that parking is actually free. Restaurants, supermarkets and stores are pricier in this destination.
